Do you offer on-site parking?

We work with a full service valet company, VIP Valet Services, that can do full valet or provide a self-park option where you can rent a parking lot from our neighbors. For the self-park option, we ask that you hire a minimum of 2 traffic directors to help guests self-park and assist Ubers going in and out of the driveway.

Are you handicap accessible?

Yes, our facility is fully handicap accessible. 

What is the rental timing?

Our rental period is from 8:00 AM -12:00 AM.

Do you have any furniture in-house?

Yes, we have fifteen 72” rounds (can seat 12 guests), 9 high tops (24” x 42”), and 4 coat racks and hangers (up to 200 coats). Chairs are not included. You can rent extra furniture through your caterer or rental company.

Do you allow candles?

Yes, votive and decorative candles in glass enclosures are permitted on cocktail tables, dining tables or bars.

Do you allow sparklers?

The use of sparklers is not permitted at Moonlight Studios.

Is a day of coordinator included?

A day of coordinator is not included; however, a dedicated venue manager will be onsite during setup, event and breakdown and can direct vendors.

Do you have parking for vendors?

Vendors can park on the Kinzie side and then move their cars to the street before guest arrival. There is free street parking in the area.

Do you have climate control / air conditioning?

Yes, we have full climate control – heating and air conditioning.

How many restrooms do you have?

We have 5 unisex bathrooms, 4 women’s stalls, 2 men’s stalls and 3 urinals.

Do you ever host two events simultaneously?

No, we only host one event per day.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Yes, we are BYOB, however, Moonlight Studios does not maintain a liquor license and therefore one of our licensed preferred caterers must serve any alcoholic beverages that are brought on the premises.

Can I have my rehearsal at the venue the day before my wedding?

No, we do not offer rehearsals on site.

Can I get ready at Moonlight Studios?

Yes, we give you the space from 8:00am-midnight and we offer a green room for the duration of your rental.

Do you have required vendors we must work with for entertainment, floral or décor?

We only ask that your vendors are insured.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Moonlight Studios accepts check, cashier’s check, wire transfer, money order, credit card or cash as forms of payment for your deposit. To reserve a date the following items must be submitted: A signed contract, a 50% deposit of your rental fee. The final balance of your rental fee is due 2 weeks prior to your rental date.

Do you require a COI?

Yes, we require a COI for your event which is due no later than 10 days prior to your rental date. Your insurance must list Moonlight Studios, its landlord, employees, contractors, and contracted vendors as additionally insured and protect against bodily injury property damage, personal injury and other loss arising out of your use and occupancy of the premises. The insurance must have a single liability limit of not less than $1 million and a general aggregate liability limit of not less than $2 million.
