There is always something special about seeing our space take on a completely different look for the night. For a recent Masquerade-Inspired Social Event, Moonlight Studios Chicago was transformed through dramatic lighting, custom décor, florals, dining, and entertainment, showing just how much can be done within the same space.

The design leaned into the masquerade theme from the moment guests entered. Rich draping, candlelight, floral arrangements, custom table settings, and theatrical décor established the setting for the evening. Lighting played a major role in changing the appearance of the room, adding color and depth throughout the venue while highlighting key areas of the event.

For us, events like this demonstrate why flexibility matters. Moonlight Studios is not tied to a permanent layout or a specific design style. Our open floor plan gives event planners room to determine how guests will move through the space and where dining, entertainment, décor, and other event elements should live.

This Masquerade-Inspired Social Event also shows how design and production can work together. Our integrated event technology gives planners access to professional lighting, audio, video, and staging capabilities within the venue. These systems can support everything from a live performance or DJ to custom video content and lighting designed specifically around an event concept.

The scale of our space also creates opportunities for larger scenic and décor elements. Planners can incorporate custom installations, lounge areas, bars, dining layouts, entertainment spaces, photo moments, and other features without being limited to an existing ballroom setup. That freedom makes it possible to approach each event differently.

For a Masquerade-Inspired Social Event, that meant creating an environment centered around the evening’s dark, formal aesthetic. For another event, the same room could take on an entirely different layout, color palette, or purpose.

That is what we want planners to see when they walk into Moonlight Studios Chicago. You do not have to design your event around what is already here. Our space gives you room to decide what should be here.

This Masquerade-Inspired Social Event is one example of how Moonlight Studios Chicago can be transformed around an event’s creative direction, guest needs, and production requirements.
